Terms of purchase and use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Gourmet (the website gourmet.se) is operated by FWT Publishing AB ("we", "us"). When you use the website or buy a course, you enter into an agreement with FWT Publishing AB. By continuing to use the service you accept these terms.
The service
Gourmet is a digital food magazine with articles, recipes and tips, as well as digital courses ("Gourmet Wine Basics, Part 1" and "Gourmet Whisky Basics, Part 1") with chapters, quizzes, a final exam and a digital certificate. The courses require an account and an application; places are limited each month.
Account and age
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy and complete courses about wine and whisky.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Licence and intellectual property
All content, all software, all texts, images and the Gourmet trademark belong to FWT Publishing AB or our licensors. When you buy a course you receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use it. You may not copy, resell, distribute or attempt to circumvent technical restrictions.
Prohibited use
You may not use the service for illegal purposes, fraud or spam, infringement of others' intellectual property rights, or to disturb security (e.g. malicious code, vulnerability scanning or automated collection of content).
Payment
Payments are handled securely by our payment provider Stripe, which supports cards and Swish. Payment, invoicing, VAT, cancellation and refunds are governed by our terms and our refund policy.
Right of withdrawal for digital course content
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase of a course. The course is digital content delivered immediately, and when you confirm that you want to start the course you explicitly agree that the material is delivered during the withdrawal period and that your right of withdrawal thereby ends. From that moment the course cannot be returned. If you have not started the course, your full right of withdrawal remains for 14 days. The terms, exceptions for technical faults and how to request a refund are set out in our refund policy.
Availability
We strive to keep the service working well but cannot guarantee that it is always available or error-free. The service is provided as is to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us during the last twelve months. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profit or lost data. The limitation does not apply in cases of intent, gross negligence or where mandatory law states otherwise. The course content is general education; always drink in moderation.
Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of material breach of contract, non-payment, risk to security or fraud, or repeated violations of these terms. When an account is closed, your data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms; the latest version is always available here. Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by a general court in Sweden. As a consumer you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Neither party is liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
